The Australian Powerlifting team at the 2023 IBSA World Games
Powerlifting is a traditional IBSA Sport that has been contested at a number of IBSA Games in the past. At the 2023 IBSA Games, Australia had 1 representative competing, with John Hanna making his international debut, alongside his coach Jacob Abade.
Powerlifting competition took place between Wednesday the 23rd and Friday the 25th of August, at King Edward School, with John Hanna winning Bronze in the Men’s -90kg Open event.
