We hope that it motivates more people to become involved in Blind Cricket in whatever capacity they can, or simply inspires others to support Ray in his White Mobility Cane project for the LOFOB.

Goalball: A Sport For the Blind
Germany versus Japan; 2011
All the players are either partially blind or clinically blind. All the players wear blindfolds to ensure they are only able to play with their sense of hearing and sense of touch. Ther are three players to a team who guard a nine metre (twenty nine and a half foot) wide goal from a one point two-five kilogram (two point seven-five pound) ball uniquely filled with bells that can be thrown at a speed of over eighty kilometres per hour or fifty miles per hour! Quite fast!

Amazing Blind Baseball League
Believe it or not, there is a league for the blind to play Baseball! The game known as “Beep Ball” was created in 1964 and has very specific guidelines on how to play. The pitcher is on the team as the batter. Right when the ball is hit, it beeps for the blind players in the field, who try and grab it as quickly as possible.
